How To Post Your Events

How to Post Your Events

1) www.MyCape.com – Our community-based Web site for each town on Cape Cod, featuring content generated by the public. Visit the site and click on the town of your choice. Then click on ‘submit article’ or ‘submit photo’ (found toward the center of the page). Fill in the fields on the form – don’t forget the image validation. Then click on submit. The article or photo will appear within 24-48 hours on MyCape.com. Questions? Contact Pat @ ppry@capecodonline.com or call 508-862-1543.

2) Online Calendar and Cape Week - To post an event on the online calendar database and in CapeWeek magazine, visit capecodonline.com, click on the entertainment tab and click on "post an event." If you would rather not submit online, press releases may be faxed to 508-771-3292, Attn: Cape Week; or mailed to Cape Week, 319 Main St., Hyannis, MA 02601. (E-mails are not accepted.) Items submitted online are copied from our calendar database and published in Cape Week. Please keep in mind that space in Cape Week is limited and items run as space allows. The deadline is at 3 p.m. Thursdays, eight days before publication.

3) Best Bets - Entertainment-related photos and press releases for possible inclusion in Cape Week’s Best Bets column should go to mmedwar@capecodonline.com. They consider theatrical performances, concerts, exhibits and more for this column. Questions? Call Michael Medwar at 508-862-1352.

4) Community Notes - Wendy Lopata’s Community Notes column runs on Sundays in the Cape & Islands section. Wendy considers a variety of items of community interest. E-mail her at wlopata@capecodonline.com or send notes to Cape Cod Times, 319 Main St., Hyannis 02601. She can be reached at 508-862-1183. The deadline is Monday at noon before publication.

5) In Our Schools - These briefs run on the Education page in the Sunday Times from September to May. School news may be emailed to mmedwar@capecodonline.com or faxed to 508-771-3292.
