What's Happening at 4C's?

New For Fall 2008
Gerontology Intensive Workshop Series
An Interdisciplinary Workshop Series for Service Providers
Who Work Now or Want to Work with Older Adults


The Series covers the major topic areas in gerontology, and strongly benefits individuals currently working in or preparing to work in this rapidly growing field. There is a Certificate and Continuing Education Units (20 to 25 CEUs) for individuals who register for the series and attend at least 8 of the 10 workshops. This 25-hour (10) workshop series offers a focused, practical approach to understanding, assessing and intervening with a variety of service concerns affecting the diverse aging population on Cape Cod and the Islands. Registrants will acquire the basic knowledge and skill set needed to work effectively with older adults in a variety of service settings. You will learn assessment skills, practical intervention skills, and a range of available Cape and off-Cape resources that can be accessed to aid this population.

All Seminars Run 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Rm. 114 of the South Building - CCCC - West Barnstable Campus
